Welcome winter in style at the farm as we host our annual Fire and Mountain Winter Festival.

We have received funding through the Australian Government Regional Art Fund to grow the event and put together an amazing line up of artists. It promises to be a great day, so gather some family and friends and join us at the farm.

Performing artists program includes;

Children’s workshops with slip stream circus from 1:30-3:30

A sunset palawa fire dance created and narrated by artist and cultural leader David menegger Gough with percussion curated by Yyan Ng

Taiko drumming and Polynesian Fire Dancer Lion Tassi

Fire Juggling Show by Slipstream Circus

Music line up includes;

Woman of the Moon, a 10 piece local group of some of the regions best musicians present a show featuring songs about the moon, from Moonlight Sonata to Dancing in the Moonlight there is an abundance of material in every genre to celebrate the magic of the moon.

Sam Buckingham, a folk and Americana singer songwriter based in Byron Bay, she will be featuring songs from her new album Dear John

Runaway Belles the farm’s favourite Launceston folk pop duo featuring Emma Anglesea and Tash Parker

Tessa Lee a north west local singer songwriter whose style has elements of jazz, folk and blues. She will be featuring songs off her album “Warm Orange Flow” and new material from her pending album “Mountains”

There will be fire pots, the burning of a huge paper mache pig, food trucks, a long table winter feast and a bar featuring local drinks including mulled wine.
