Set amongst the stunning backdrop of the Dial Range and overlooking an established cider orchard with sea views, the farm is the perfect venue for your wedding ceremony and reception. Our beautiful new barn is ready for weddings, it has a 250 seat capacity making it one of the largest venue in north west Tasmania. With our farm restaurant and new barn space we now have a complete all weather venue.

We can move the wedding arch to your favourite space on our picturesque farm for your ceremony before returning to our stunning gardens, cider bar and barn for the reception. With no shortage of straw bales and fire pots you can work with our team to create a beautiful rustic farm theme. We’re fully licensed and have access to beautiful fresh produce from the garden and farm for our catering.

Our gardener is also a florist and runs her own award winning wedding stylist business Sweet Nothing Event Hire. You can work with us to help style your wedding including floral arrangements from our gardens. Camping is also permitted at the farm, while a host of local accomodation options can be found in Penguin, Burnie and Ulverstone. The farm is only 10 minutes outside of Penguin.

One of the great features of the farm is that it is at the top of the hill and has amazing light and views. Our instagram page is full of beautiful photos showcasing sunsets, our barn and our farm and gardens. There is a range of amazing back drops for wedding photos and you can even pose with a piglet.

Drinks from the bar

We offer a range of beverages options served from our  garden cider bar. These include cider made from our orchard by Guy’s younger brother Mark at Lost Pippin and local craft beer and Tasmanian wines.

Catering

Before catering wedding at our own farm we’ve catered at weddings all around Tasmania and still provide that option if we’re not fully booked. All of our dishes are prepared on site in our large commercial kitchen by our French chef Madjid. Dishes feature ethical produce from the farm and garden along with produce from other local artisan producers. We only use the highest quality seasonal ingredients in our dishes.

Ploughman’s platters are a feature and include local organic cheeses from our friends at Red Cow Organics combined with seasonal fruit and home made charcuterie and condiments. We offer a range of protein menu options apart from pork including vegetarian and gluten free options. One of the features of the farm is cooking fresh produce over coals on our Argentinian Grill.
