About this Event

To celebrate the launch of their new barn, Mount Gnomon have invited everyone to the farm! Join us as we explore what a sustainable future looks like in NW Tasmania as we preserve the past and culture the future.

Gates open at 11 AM Sunday, 18 October and there will be:

  • A garden talk and tour with Gardening Australia’s Tino Carnevale
  • An official barn launch
  • The new Mount Gnomon charcuterie bar
  • Farm fresh food & drink
  • Free masterclasses on all things fermented, including cheese, sourdough, cider, gin, kimchi & kombucha
  • Fermented food & drink stalls in the barn
  • Live music
  • Piglet patting
  • Gumboot tossing
  • Farm tours
  • And more…

The event will comply with all current COVID-safe regulations and guidelines. Due to current restrictions, numbers are strictly capped at 500 people and tickets must be purchased online prior to the event.
